Overview

These are examples of contemporary arrangements and score preparation written for different ensemble settings, exploring how harmonic language, orchestration, and form adapt across musical contexts.

The work includes professional-grade score preparation for large ensembles, demonstrating fluency in notation standards, orchestral layout, part extraction, and the full pipeline from written score to rehearsal, recording, and integration within a DAW-based production workflow. This process emphasizes clarity, playability, and effective communication between composer, performers, and producers.

I have a long-standing interest in jazz harmony and ensemble writing, shaped by both formal study and teaching. At Berklee, I pursued advanced coursework in harmony, including "Advanced Modal Harmony", and even taught jazz harmony and arranging as a tutor. I am drawn to using theory as a creative tool rather than a constraint — understanding its structure deeply, then stretching beyond it to shape musical ideas that feel expressive, intentional, and alive.

These arrangements represent an opportunity to explore how harmonic complexity, voicing choices, and ensemble interaction can inspire performers and listeners alike, often encouraging deeper curiosity about how music works. This practice continues to inform my broader work in composition, sound design, and interactive systems by grounding experimentation in musical craft.
