Hybrid & Traditional Film Scoring – Headphones Recommended

Overview

These are examples of linear, story-driven music cues written for film and narrative media, focused on guiding emotional arcs, shaping audience perception, and supporting storytelling through sound.

The scores combine acoustic and electronic approaches, depending on the needs of the narrative. This includes writing, preparing, and conducting scores for acoustic instruments recorded in professional studio settings, as well as detailed programming and mixing of virtual instruments and sample libraries to achieve realistic, expressive performances. In parallel, I integrate synthesized instruments and sound design to support more modern, textural, or electronic sound worlds when appropriate.

Across these works, music is treated as a narrative tool — shaping pacing, reinforcing character development, and helping audiences transition between emotional states. Film music’s psychological ability to influence mood and attention is central to my approach, allowing viewers to be guided through unfamiliar emotional journeys while remaining grounded in the story.

These examples reflect a hybrid workflow that bridges traditional composition and orchestration with contemporary production techniques, emphasizing clarity of intention, emotional impact, and close alignment between music and picture.
